Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF)
This is the parent group that promotes photography throughout the Western Region. The WCPF was founded in 1932 and is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) The WCPF covers the West Country and extends from Stroud in the North West across to Swindon in the North East, due South down to Weymouth and all counties right down to Lands End in Cornwall. There are 98 clubs in the WCPF federation.
Photographic Alliance of great Britain (PAGB)
This is the governing body which includes the 11 British Federations, sets standards and issues the PAGB Merit Awards. The PAGB is affiliated to the International Photographic Federation FIAP.
